I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Psalm 32:8 NIV
The Way We Should Go
In response to the question “where should I visit in Canada when I go there the first time, one website says this: “Nova Scotia, Canada’s ocean-swept eastern province, captivates visitors with its perfect blend of maritime charm, rich history, and rugged coastal beauty. This peninsula, almost completely surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, offers travelers an authentic slice of Atlantic Canadian culture where warm hospitality meets centuries-old traditions. Full of colonial charm and greenery, Nova Scotia is perhaps the most beautiful of these regions.”

When on a trip, in a place you’ve never been before, it’s always wise to ask a local where you should go and what you should see. They can usually give good advice. When seeking your way through life, the best one to ask for direction is the One who created you. King David often faced difficult decisions, and he learned early on to ask the Lord for the wisdom he needed and the path he should take. He writes this in Psalm 32:8: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” King David often looked to God’s word for the path to follow. Throughout the 119th psalm, he expressed the way forward that he has found by following all that God has said. We will as well. If you are looking for a way to navigate life in a challenging place and time, you’ll find the never changing Word of God as the direction you need. God will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.
These have been words from the heart.
