We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
2 Peter 1:19 NIV
Completely Reliable
Canada has long been known as a friendly and welcoming place, and now, it’s officially one of the safest countries to visit. Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection recently released its report on the safest countries in the world for 2025, and Canada came out near the top. This recognition is based on Canada’s impressive safety measures, low crime rates, reliable transportation, and healthcare quality, along with an inclusive environment for diverse groups of people. Here’s why Canada is such a top choice for travelers and newcomers.

There is very little in our world that is completely reliable. Even the most expensive of cars, for example, are built by humans and parts will eventually wear out. The closest of friends will let us down, even unintentionally. So, we wonder if we can even trust God and His Word. There are many who work hard to convince us that God’s Word is untrustworthy, that there are mistakes and contradictions. The Bible knew that this would happen – after all, there is an enemy in the spiritual realm who works hard, full-time, to put doubt into our mind. Over and over God’s Word speaks up for itself – 2 Peter 1:19 is one example, and it says, “We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.” Peter knew that you could completely trust the reliability of God’s Word. We know that as well and build our lives on what God teaches us through the reliable Word of God.
These have been words from the heart.
