Yet I am always with you;
you hold me by my right hand.
You guide me with your counsel,
and afterward you will take me into glory.
Psalm 73:23-24 NIV
Always With Us
Canadians who live or work abroad or who travel a lot may still have to pay Canadian and provincial or territorial income taxes. If you are planning to be outside Canada for an extended period of time, you should inform the Canada Revenue Agency before you go to ask for a determination of your residency status. Your residency status depends on whether you are leaving Canada permanently or only temporarily and the residential ties you keep with Canada and establish in another country. If you are a Canadian, no matter where you live, Canada will always be with you.

I was speaking with a friend the other day and she asked me to pray for her husband – she told me that he felt like God was far away. He longed to have the intimacy with the Lord that he once enjoyed. This can happen to followers of Jesus during challenging times, and this is where our faith really kicks in. King David went through some very difficult times – it seems that for most of his life, someone was after him and his position as leader of Israel. But in faith, he writes this in Psalm 73:23-24: “Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.” David knew that no matter what, he was always with the Lord, being held by Him and guided by God’s counsel. No matter what you are facing right now, you are always with the Lord through your faith in Jesus. He is holding you, guiding you. Believe this, and hold on to this, even if your feelings say otherwise.
These have been words from the heart.
