With You
The Canadian government is with you most places you travel around the world. Canadian government officials can transfer emergency funds if urgent financial assistance is required, and all other options have been exhausted. They can replace lost or stolen passports; provide a list of local doctors and hospitals; contact family or friends (with your consent) if you have had an accident or are held by police; and offer advice and guidance if a person goes missing or if a child is abducted while travelling outside of Canada.

God loves the world. There is no doubt about that. The entire narrative of the Bible is God’s love for His creation and particularly for men, women, and children, the highest of His creative genius. At the same time, sin has an effect on everything, and while God loves the world, not everyone loves God. We see that in our world for sure. People who are not loving Jesus usually fall into one of two camps – some are antagonistic towards God, others are indifferent. In light of this, listen to what the Bible says in 2 Chronicles 15:2: “He went out to meet Asa and said to him, ‘Listen to me, Asa and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.” I love knowing that because I love Jesus, the Lord is with me. It is frightening to think that those who forsake Him don’t have that assurance.
