The New Thing
Canadian inventions and discoveries are objects, processes, or techniques—invented, innovated, or discovered—that owe their existence either partially or entirely to a person born in Canada, a citizen of Canada, or a company or organization based in Canada. Some of these inventions were funded by National Research Council Canada, which has been an important factor in innovation and technological advancement. Often, things discovered for the first time are also called inventions and in many cases, there is no clear line between the two.

God is all about giving those who love Him a fresh start. When we enter into a relationship with Jesus through faith in Him and what He accomplished on the cross, everything becomes new. If anyone is in Christ, the old is gone and the new has come. Our Creator knows how desperately we need forgiveness from our sin, having them removed, and being given a whole new nature. God says this to us in Isaiah 43:19: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” God loves you so much that He simply can’t leave you in your sin and guilt. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, He has provided a way to change everything in your life. In the wilderness of life without Jesus, He comes alongside doing a new thing in you. If you are longing for a fresh start, you will find that the moment you put your faith and trust in Jesus. In every way, your life will never be the same again – and your future will be filled with life.
