Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Matthew 24:35 NIV
Never Passing Away
Most employees in Ontario have the right to take up to two days of unpaid job-protected leave each calendar year because of the death of certain family members. This is known as bereavement leave. Special rules apply to some occupations. Employees are entitled to up to two bereavement leave days per year after they have worked for an employer for at least two consecutive weeks. An employee who missed part of a day to take the leave would be entitled to any wages they earned while working.

From time to time archaeologists will discover particles of ancient manuscripts. Caesar’s Gallic Wars was written in the first century B.C. There are only 10 manuscripts in existence. The earliest textual evidence we have was copied 1,000 years after the original. Aristotle’s Poetics was written in the fourth century B.C. There are only 5 manuscripts in existence. The earliest textual evidence we have was copied 1,400 years after the original. The New Testament, on the other hand, was written in first century A.D. There are some 25,000 early manuscripts in existence, almost 6,000 of which (many being only recognizable fragments) are Greek texts and the others being early translations of the Greek New Testament. The earliest textual evidence was copied not long after the original. This backs up what Jesus said in Matthew 24:35: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” The Word of God stands the test of time. God preserves His word so that His people will know who He is, why Jesus came, and how His followers ought to live our lives.
These have been words from the heart.
