Human Plans
If you qualify for Canada’s Dental Care Plan (CDCP), beginning last March, you must take action to renew your coverage. You must have filed your 2024 tax return and received your 2024 assessment. Members were to have submitted their renewal applications by this past June to ensure uninterrupted coverage. Coverage for those who did not renew ended on June 30, 2025, and any oral health care services received between then and now will not be eligible for reimbursement.

Human beings make lots of plans. Each year at Bible League Canada we spend months forming strategic plans for the next fiscal year, and further out, as far as ten years. It is wise to make such plans – it helps us know when we have reached our goals and we can celebrate God’s goodness. The Bible speaks about the plans that we human beings make. For followers of Jesus, we recognize that ultimately God is in charge of all our plans. King Solomon, who oversaw the building of the Temple – we can only imagine the amount of planning that must have gone into that project – understood that ultimately it is God’s plan that always works. He says this in Proverbs 16:9: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” It is a blessing to know that God’s plans always work out. As we make our plans, we need to do so with much prayer and time in God’s Word. As we pray and plan according to His will, we will have great peace knowing that God’s plan will always come with His provision and His direction.
