Back in 2021 Concord Adex announced its latest acquisition, Concord Sky. It is set to be a Toronto icon due to its unique shape and height like the Transamerica Pyramid is to San Francisco. It will be the country’s second tallest residential tower at 299 m and 4th tallest structure overall. Centrally located at Yonge and Gerrard, it will be to market with 95 stories, approximately 1100 homes and is now due to be complete in 2026.

I was just listening to the Weather Network, and they were talking about a chain of strong storms and tornadoes. They instructed those who live in that region to make their way to somewhere safe, secure and close. They said, “if you are in a store, get to the middle of the store.” While there are places to run and hide when a tornado is about to hit, there is only one place to run when spiritual storms come. King Solomon, in his wisdom, writes this in Proverbs 18:10: “The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” This is both a lesson and a promise. Everything Solomon wrote comes out of things that he watched around him through the lenses of wisdom. He had seen the faithful among the people of God running to the Lord in challenging times, and every time they did, they found the Lord to be like a strong tower, keeping His people safe. If you are going through a tough time right now, run, quickly to Jesus. Hide yourself in Him. When you do, you will experience a peace that passes all understanding, and He will keep you safe through all that the world can throw your way.
