Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

The Foreign Credential Recognition Program supports the labour market integration of skilled newcomers by simplifying and harmonizing credential recognition processes, providing loans and support services to help with the foreign credential recognition processes, and helping skilled newcomers gain their first Canadian work experience in their profession or field of study. The Foreign Credential Recognition Program also supports joint initiatives among provinces and territories and other partners to improve the mobility of Canadian workers in regulated occupations as they seek jobs across Canada.

We are used to having to trust. When someone makes a promise to us, we trust that he or she will keep that promise. When we drive to work in the morning, we trust that the driver coming towards us is going to stay on his side of the road. When we buy something at the grocery store, we trust it will not be unsafe to eat. If anything happens to break that trust, it takes a lot of time and effort to rebuild it, if that is even possible. There is One who will never let us down, and in whom we can trust completely. King Solomon writes about this Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” The Bible tells us that every promise in the Bible is “yes and amen” in Jesus – in other words, what He says, He will do, what He says will happen, will happen. You can always trust Him completely, no matter what He has promised. As you acknowledge Him, even more than you trust yourself, He will direct your life beautifully.

These have been words from the heart.
