No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Nothing Can Separate

The Cascadia movement is a bioregional independence movement based in the Cascadia bioregion of western North America. Potential boundaries differ, with some drawn along existing political state and provincial lines, and others drawn along larger ecological, cultural, political, and economic boundaries. The proposed country or region largely would consist of the Canadian province of British Columbia and the U.S. states of Washington and Oregon. In British Columbia, a 2020 poll has shown a significant growth of support for Cascadia and British Columbia as a standalone independent country.

The Bible is filled with wonderful promises to those who walk in faith and who love Jesus. We can claim them all for our daily lives. One of the most precious is found in the words of Paul the apostle, who while persecuting God’s people had experienced the love of God in a life-transforming way. In Romans 8:37-39 he writes: “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Listen carefully to what Paul is saying here. No matter what you have done, what you are going through, what is facing you today, you are loved by God. Even if you face death, spiritual warfare, or a mountain that seems too high to climb, God’s love is secure. Bask in that today. Your Creator loves you deeply, and in Jesus, nothing can separate you from that.

These have been words from the heart.
