I will praise God’s name in song
and glorify him with thanksgiving.

Magnify

Magnifiers can be used to read writing easier, inspect objects closer, or see details that are too hard for the naked eye. There are various magnifying glasses, jewellery loupes, reading aids, and lab magnifiers to suit your needs. Some magnifiers come with a built-in LED light so you can see at night or in low-light conditions. Magnifiers can also be helpful for people who need to read small print or perform tasks that require close attention to detail, such as working with electronics, crafts, or hobbies.

Somehow in our day, we have come to see worship and praise as the musical part of the Sunday morning service. There is praise and worship, times of prayer and the message from the word. While it is true that music has always played a part in magnifying the Lord, there is so much more to it. King David says this in Psalm 69:30: “I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.” I love music and I love singing. So much of my daily devotional time revolves around music – we are blessed that because of the internet, so much great Christian music is available. David loved to worship God in song, but he also realized that there are so many other ways to magnify the Lord. He says He does that through thanksgiving. In order to do so, our thoughts have to focus on all the blessings God sends our way – and they really are uncountable. As you focus on the blessings of God, thanksgiving will always rise up. Take time today to make an account of all that Jesus has done for you, and let thanksgiving arise.

These have been words from the heart.
