Imagine hearing your father say, “If you continue to follow Jesus, you will no longer be my son. I will cut you off from my property and the family land because you are disobeying me.” This is what Aafa’s father told him when he learned that Aafa was a Christian. Yet despite these harsh words from his father, Aafa responded calmly, “I can leave everything—property, land, and family—but I cannot leave the church or my Lord Jesus Christ.” India can be a difficult place for a Christian to live.
