Everything changed when lonely, 15-year-old Alvard experienced the love and warmth of a church community at a youth camp. She was deeply moved by her leader’s kindness and the genuine care of the other children. For the first time she felt seen, valued, and truly welcomed. From that moment on, Alvard kept returning to church, drawn by the love of Christ.
