I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

Philippians 4:18 NIV

Amply Supplied

According to a Farm Credit Canada report in October 2025, abundant feed grain supplies and improved profitability for the livestock sector supported strong feed demand and sales through last winter. A forecast for a record-large corn crop in the United States held feed prices low in Canada, keeping a lid on increases in hay prices. Canadian commercial feed sales that projected to increase Canada’s livestock sector has faced years of tight feed supplies and high costs, with expensive feed grains hurting the profits for both producers and feed mills.

I wish you could hear how grateful our global partners are for the support Canadian Christians give to support their work. They never take for granted the sacrifice Canadian Christians give in providing finances, volunteering their time, and offering prayer support, and used goods. Our partners realize that they couldn’t do what God has called them to do, they couldn’t reap the harvest that they do continually, without thousands of Canadian Christians standing with them. You will catch a bit of their expression of thanks in Paul’s words to the faithful Philippian Christians who were supporting his ministry. In Philippians 4:18, he writes, “I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.” What a beautiful thank you Paul gives to these faithful Philippians. They have provided an ample supply to Paul; but more than this, before God what they have provided is a fragrant offering and an acceptable sacrifice. When you give, this is what you offer as well.

These have been words from the heart.
