Words from the Heart for Tuesday September 8th, 2020
Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Genesis 1:31 (NKJV)
A credit score is a number, generally between 300 and 900, that helps determine your creditworthiness. Credit scores are calculated using information in your credit report, including your payment history; the amount of debt you have; and the length of your credit history. Although credit scoring models vary, generally, credit scores from 660 to 724 are considered good; 725 to 759 are considered very good; and 760 and up are considered excellent. Higher credit scores mean you have demonstrated responsible credit behaviour in the past.
Whatever God does, He does it perfectly. That is certainly true when He created the world. At the end of every day of creating, He looked at what He had done and He declared that it was good. Finally, at the end of Day 6, with the creation of men and women, He looked at it all and thought to Himself, “This is very good.” Genesis 1:31 says, “Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” That was a huge understatement. This was God, the creative genius, at His very best. At this point, sin had not yet entered into the heart of Adam and Eve, and so everything was perfect. In spite of the impact of sin on the entirety of God’s creation, we still see the glory of God in all that He has spoken into being. As you live your life today, take time to look around, and take notice of all that God has created. As you do, ponder how powerful and creative, God is. Then take time to give Him the glory for all He has brought into being.
