We love the promises of God’s Word for our individual lives. What a blessing to know that we are sons and daughters of the living God and that He has a plan for our lives that nothing can thwart. He cares for the individual and loves us as though we were the only person on the planet. But He is also the God who spoke the universe into being and He is in control of the big things as well the individual. There is a wonderful promise in Leviticus 26:4: “I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit.” In a time when the world seems so out of control with wars, climate change, economic instability, and pandemics, it is a huge blessing to know that the Creator of this world is still in control, ensuring that the seasons come and go and that fields will continue to produce crops and orchards will continue to produce fruit. There is so much fear in the world today. Follower of Jesus, have confidence in the Master. Trust Him for the small things in your life and the big things in this world.
