For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Intra-company transfers to Canada are a popular way for international workers to move to Canada. If you work for a company that has a parent company, branch, subsidiary, or affiliate in Canada, you may be able to secure a Canadian work permit through the Intra-company transfer program. Approved applicants through the Intra-company transfer program obtain a temporary work permit. Work experience gained as an intra-company transferee in Canada may then be used as a springboard to permanent residence in Canada, as Canadian work experience is highly valued under Canada’s points-based immigration system.

A common theme of police dramas on TV is kidnapping. Many episodes focus on finding the kidnapped person and freeing them from the grip of their kidnapper. If they end happily, the final scene is watching the victim being transferred from the clutches of the criminal to the arms of loved ones. This is the sense of what Paul teaches in Colossians 1:13-14: “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” The Bible teaches that through our sinful nature we have been kidnapped by the king of darkness and are caught in his clutches. Our Creator loves us, and has sent His Son Jesus to rescue us. He has done so by His death on the cross, by which our sin has been atoned for and our freedom offered. When we put our faith in Jesus, our rescue takes place, and we are freed from our kidnapper, escaping the dominion of darkness, welcomed into the loving arms of God. Trust Jesus and rush into your Deliverer’s loving arms.
These have been words from the heart.
