But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Galatians 5:22-23 NIV

Love, Joy, Peace

Newfoundland and Labrador topped Canada’s provinces as having the highest life satisfaction in the country, according to Statistics Canada’s survey data from earlier this year. Drawn from the Canadian Social Survey — which collects data every three months from people 15 and older on health, well-being, the impacts of COVID-19, activities, use of time and emergency preparedness — the figures show that 61.7 per cent of people in Newfoundland and Labrador reported a high life satisfaction, above the Canadian average of 51.7%.

There are few foods that are more nutritious than farm fresh fruit. Most are sweet, juicy and healthy. We are blessed in Canada this time of the year because we have an abundance of fruit in just about every part of our country. There is another kind of fruit that ought to be even more common in the life of every follower of Jesus. Paul writes this in Galatians 5:22-23: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” God wants to produce rich spiritual fruit in the life of the follower of Jesus. This is the true mark of a Holy Spirit filled life. These fruit are all only produced by Him as we grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus and as we surrender daily to the Lordship of Jesus and His will for our lives. This fruit not only blesses us, but sustains those around us as we respond to them with the fruit of the Spirit. Allow the Holy Spirit to produce His fruit in your life, and bless others as they see them evidenced in your relationship with them.

These have been words from the heart.
