But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.

The Time Came
This past July, the Canadian Olympic Committee said the February deadline for its bid to host the 2030 Olympic Winter Games in British Columbia gave “ample time for funding partners to complete cost-benefit analyses of the 2030 project.” This comes as Whistler and Vancouver city councils planned to discuss reports highlighting the seven-month timeline and lack of financial details related to the bid proposal. Experience gained from the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver and Whistler helped provide a blueprint for organizers.

Time is an interesting reality. Human beings have learned to track it and mark it and it has a profound effect on every one of us. The God of the Bible exists outside of time but He created it and governs it perfectly. One day He chose to step into time, taking on humanity in the person of Jesus Christ and now we mark history by time before His coming and time following. Nothing about Jesus’ arrival happened by chance – He arrived at the right place, within the right family and at just the right time. Galatians 4:4-5 puts it this way: “But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.” God had planned the arrival of Jesus perfectly and arranged even the geopolitical events of that day to fall into line with all that had been foretold about the coming of the Messiah. If the Lord God was able to plan Jesus’ life perfectly, He is able to plan yours as well. You can trust Him to work out His will for you perfectly.
These have been words from the heart.
