The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
1 Thessalonians 5:28 NIV
Grace Be With You
The Salvation Army’s Grace Mansion in Vancouver exists to provide safe, stable, affordable housing for individuals who are at risk of homelessness and are looking to work through barriers and issues that may have contributed to a lack of housing. It is Grace Mansion’s goal to help residents build supports in the community and gain skills that will break the cycle of homelessness. Programs are created with the basic premise in mind that all people are created in the image of Christ. grhh

There are a few things that differentiate the Christian faith from other religions, but the heart of the uniqueness of Christianity is grace. By Jesus’ death on the cross, He offers freely the gift of eternal life to all who confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead. Our standing before our Creator God doesn’t depend on our goodness or righteousness – we can’t be good enough or do enough good. It all depends on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith. That is saving grace. Once we have experienced that saving grace, God continues to pour out His grace on His people – grace to forgive us, grace to sustain us, grace to carry us into eternity. As Paul ends his first letter to the believers in Thessalonica, he simply blesses them with grace. 1 Thessalonians 5:28 says, “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.” What a blessing to know that God’s grace is always with those who love Jesus. His saving, keeping, sustaining, perfecting, and providing grace. He loves you so much that He offers all this, and more, for you, today.
These have been words from the heart.
