With Power
Hydro-Québec is a Canadian Crown corporation public utility headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. It manages the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in Quebec, as well as the export of power to portions of the Northeast United States. More than 40 percent of Canada’s water resources are in Quebec, and Hydro-Québec is one of the largest hydropower producers in the world. It was established as a Crown corporation by the government of Quebec in 1944 from the expropriation of private firms. Today, with 63 hydroelectric power stations, the combined output capacity is 37,370 megawatts.

When I was young, I found sharing my faith to be daunting. I was afraid that I didn’t have all the answers that might come my way, or that people would think I was odd. Over the years I have discovered some things. While it is true that I can usually give an answer to any question that comes my way, most of the time people don’t have many questions. I’ve also discovered that many people are quite interested to know what Christians believe. They often have many misconceptions. All this being said, I have also discovered something else about sharing the Gospel – it isn’t my role to convince anyone. Listen to what Paul says about this in 1 Thessalonians 1:5: “…because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake.” Our role is to simply tell others what Jesus has done in our lives and how they can experience what we have. The Holy Spirit does the rest. So, share Jesus with someone today, and watch Him work in their lives.
