Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Mark 11:24 NIV
Heard by God
Glen MacPherson first heard the Hum in 2012. He was in Sechelt BC when he detected a low-level drone that he thought was coming from nearby float planes. Over time, he started to realize the Hum had nothing to do with planes and tried to figure out what exactly was going on. So he Googled it and discovered an online community of people who say they have been hearing a mysterious drone that has been dubbed The World Hum.

Jesus has a plan for your life, if you have placed your faith and trust in Him – it is to produce fruit that has eternal impact. Jesus uses a fig tree to illustrate this. Following the Palm Sunday parade, Jesus heads to Jerusalem and on the way, He curses the tree to teach His disciples a lesson. Later, as they head the other way, they notice that the fig tree has withered. What was the point? Like a healthy fig tree, the follower of Jesus is meant to bear fruit. In order to do so, we need to keep our roots deep in Jesus, connected with Him on a daily basis through time in His Word and prayer. When we do, our roots will never wither, and we will bear fruit. Jesus then goes on to say, in Mark 11:24: “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Some people have taken this verse to mean that we can ask Jesus for anything and He will grant it. That is not at all what He means. We can ask Him for all we need to bear much fruit, and He will always provide that.
These have been words from the heart.
