Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Armour of God

Under Canadian law, we all have a right to protect ourselves and our families.  As such, we have a legal right to acquire and wear body armour for personal and professional protection. It is 100% legal to sell bulletproof vests and other types of body armour to anyone in Canada, however some provinces have regulated the possession of body armour products. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ascertain whether it is legal to purchase and use body armor in that province.

The Bible often speaks of the spiritual life as one of warfare. There is no doubt that we are in a spiritual battle – the enemy of Christ, who did his best to see Jesus crucified and buried, fighting with futility to keep Him in the grave, is the enemy of our souls. The Lord Jesus understands this and has provided all that we need to walk in victory. Paul tells us about God’s provision in Ephesians 6:13-17: “Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled round your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” No matter how hard the battle gets, you will stand your ground.
