There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
1 Corinthians 12:4-6 (NIV)
Varieties of Gifts
It is no secret that technology is the fastest growing sector in Canada. In the near future, every working professional will be required to have a certain level of digital literacy or competency using digital devices. The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development anticipates significant change in the labour market with impending technological innovation; 9% of jobs may be at risk of elimination and 32% may find their job duties changing. Companies are encouraged to offer workshops or seminars to help employees develop these skills and prepare themselves for the forthcoming knowledge economy.

We marvel at how no two snowflakes are the same. We are intrigued by doppelgangers – two people who look surprisingly alike. But in reality, human beings and snowflakes have a lot in common. No two human beings are exactly the same. Scientists have recently determined that even identical twins differ by an average of 5.3 genetic mutations. The Creator planned it this way. And no two followers of Christ are identical either with the gifts God has given us to glorify Him and be a blessing to others. Paul writes this in 1 Corinthians 12:4-6: “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.” God always sees the big picture. He knows what is best for His people. He gives gifts according to what is needed within the body of Christ. He uses you according to the gifts the Holy Spirit with which the Holy Spirit has graced you.
These have been words from the heart.
