There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.

I often wonder how those who don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ deal with the uncertainty of the future. The world can be challenging enough even with the assurance that Jesus has everything under control – without Him it must be disconcerting at best and frightening at worst. What a difference it makes to have the assurance that this world is not running out of control but is under the care and control of the God who created it all – as the theologians say, He is the creator, governor and preserver of all things. King Solomon believed this and wrote this in Proverbs 23:18: “There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.” You may be going through a particularly difficult time right now, but this will not last. God has a much better future for you and as you keep trusting Him, you will find hope rising up. With the assurance that you are loved and cared for, you can face what you are facing and can look beyond this to the eternity in the presence of Jesus that is promised to all who trust Him.
These have been words from the heart.
