God Will Carry You
Any time you enter or leave Canada, you must declare any money or monetary instruments, such as stocks, bonds or cheques that you are carrying valued at $10,000 or more. If you are planning to travel outside Canada with highly valuable items that you acquired in Canada or that you lawfully imported, you can take them to a Customs and Border Services Agency office before you leave to have them identified on a wallet-sized card as valuables that were in your possession before leaving the country.

Our property backs onto a farm, and we love this time of the year as the harvest gets underway and the combines are in the field harvesting the more than 70 different variety of crops that are grown in our rural municipality. The Bible tells us that each of us is producing a spiritual crop. What that variety of crop is depends on how we have responded to Jesus Christ. Listen to what Isaiah 64:6 tells us about this; “All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.” This is a sobering truth. Without having repented of our sins and turned in faith to Jesus Christ, we will be so tied to our sin that when judgment day comes, along with our sin we will be swept away into an eternity separated from God. How much better to repent of our sins and put our hope and trust in Jesus. When we do, our sins will be swept away, but we will not. Trust in Jesus Christ today.
