I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths.
Proverbs 4:11 NIV
Instruct
In the 10 provinces and 3 territories, departments or ministries of education are responsible for the organization, delivery, and assessment of education at the elementary and secondary levels, for technical and vocational education, and for postsecondary education. Some provinces and territories have separate departments or ministries: one having responsibility for elementary-secondary education and another for postsecondary education, adult learning, and skills training. As of June 2021, eight provinces and territories have placed early childhood learning and development under the umbrella of education.

Jesus’ disciples loved to call Him rabbi. He was their teacher, their instructor, the One who led them and who poured His life into them. The Gospels are a teaching manual – they record what Jesus taught and how He did. Through them He instructs us as well. He always has. King Solomon, a man of great wisdom, wrote this in Proverbs 4:11: “I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths.” God wants to be a part of our lives. The entire Biblical narrative is the story of God coming after us. Sin separated us from Him – He immediately set into motion His plan to redeem the world. Throughout the Hebrew Scriptures we read of God speaking through patriarchs and prophets, judges and kings. He has finally spoken through His Son, the Lord Jesus. In His Word, He does instruct us in the way of wisdom. Through Jesus, He has fully revealed Himself, and instructs us in the way of redemption. He empowers us to walk the straight path – the highway of holiness the Bible calls it. As He was for His first disciples, Jesus remains our rabbi. Receive His instruction with joy.
These have been words from the heart.
