Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
Isaiah 55:7 NIV

According to the U.S. Immigration Act, a Canadian resident who is not a U.S. citizen, nor a green card holder, can stay in the U.S. for no more than 180 days a year. The important thing to note is that the year doesn’t mean a calendar year, but a rolling 365 day period. So, when doing the calculations, you need to look back into your last 365 days. For example, if you came into the U.S. on January 2, 2023, you won’t calculate the days from January 1, 2023, but rather from the 2nd.

The message of the Christian faith is one of great news. Forgiveness, redemption, salvation, is available freely, but at the great price of Jesus’ death on the Cross. We are called to take that message to a world that needs it desperately. It always has needed that truth. Those of us who have received the gift of eternal life are called to pray the prayer of Isaiah 55:7: “Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.” As we pray this prayer, often and regularly, we will find God will do some amazing things. He will work in the hearts of those we love the dearest who are not in relationship with the Lord Jesus. It is His work to cause them to forsake their ways and turn to the Lord. God will also have mercy on them when they do turn to Him. He will pardon them. If you have loved ones you are praying for, praying they will return to the Lord, pray this, and watch God work.
These have been words from the heart.
