God’s Will – Sanctification
The foreign relations of Canada are Canada’s relations with other governments and nations. Globalization has significantly influenced Canadian foreign policies, with the country known for its promotion of peace and security through mediation, and for providing aid to developing countries. As of 2023, Canada is a signatory to 15 free trade agreements with 51 different countries.

One of the common themes of Scripture is that God is building a people that would be set apart from the world in order to bring Him glory and to represent His nature in a world that is far from His holiness. He calls His people to be led by Him and to live like Him. Paul speaks to this in 1 Thessalonians 4:3: “It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality…” God’s will isn’t a mystery—it’s not hidden in complicated rules. Paul makes it simple: God’s desire for us is our sanctification, our becoming more like Him every day. One key part of that is honouring Him with our bodies, turning away from sexual immorality in a world that often tells us “anything goes.” Sanctification doesn’t happen through human effort. It is the presence of Jesus in us, and a constant surrender to Him in every way. It’s a daily choice to pursue holiness, to let God shape our thoughts, words, and actions. As we do, we step into the abundant life God promises, a life marked by freedom, joy, and peace.
