Words from the Heart for Monday July 23rd, 2018
That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
I Corinthians 2:9 (NLT)
What God Has Prepared
Man has an amazing ability of imagination. But, there are those things prepared by our wonderful Lord that are far, far beyond what we could imagine or make happen. He loves us. We love Him. He holds things ready for us. Don’t limit yourself to just what you can do. Call upon Him. Ask Him to share His thoughts with you as His beloved.
A food product may use the label “Product of Canada” if “”all or virtually all”” of the major ingredients, processing and labour used to make the product are Canadian, according to the Guide to Food Labelling and Advertising. Packaged in Canada, Roasted in Canada or Prepared in Canada, can apply to a number of products including jams or coffee. A label on a jam product could be Packaged in Canada if the jam was made in the U.S. but simply canned in Canada.
Most human beings have dreams for themselves and their families. They long for their children to be successful and live long and happy lives. They plan for retirement and look forward to vacations and quality time with those they love. If this is so with human beings, how much more is it so for God. Paul the apostle writes this in 1 Corinthians 2:9, “That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, ‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.’” God has plans for you and no matter how big your dreams, you can’t possibly imagine what a blessing those plans will be for you. God has redeemed you, and brought you into His forever family. He has given you peace, hope and a guaranteed future. And He has taken up residence in your heart. If this was all, it would be more than we deserve and more than we would ever have thought possible. But God has so much more for those who love Him. Thank Him today for all He has done and wait in expectation for what is still ahead.
These have been words from the heart.
