Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV
New Creation
Money is created in the Canadian economy in two main ways: through private commercial bank loans or asset purchases, and through the Bank of Canada’s asset purchases. The majority of money in the economy is created by commercial banks when they extend new loans, such as mortgages. However, with the Bank of Canada’s unprecedented asset purchases to reduce the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Canadian economy and to bring inflation back up to target, greater attention has been paid to the Bank of Canada’s money creation and its impact on inflation.

The partner of Bible League Canada in Romania has a printing press. They produce Christian materials, annual calendars filled with Bible verses, and Bibles themselves. Christian material pours out of their printing press. This isn’t really surprising – they are a Bible agency. What is surprising is where the printing press is located – in the room that contained the printing press for the atheistic Communist regime of dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. It is the same room, but the room has been transformed, and now the love of Jesus flows from it. That is the picture that happens to the heart of a person who has placed their faith and trust in the person of Jesus Christ. Paul writes this in 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here!” When Jesus comes into our lives, everything changes. One of the themes of the New Testament is that once we were this but now we are this. Take time today to make a list of all the changes Jesus has made in your life. And realize He isn’t done yet.
These have been words from the heart.
