But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Galatians 5:22-23 NIV

Fruit of the Spirit is Love

Canada is the second-largest commercial producer of blueberries in the world, behind only the United States, and the industry has a fully integrated production and processing supply chain using modern production practices and processing technologies. Canada produces and processes two types of blueberries: highbush (cultivated blueberries) and lowbush (wild blueberries). Canada is also the second-largest producer of cranberries after the United States. Quebec and British Columbia together accounted for almost 93.7% of Canada’s cranberry crop in 2021.

Throughout February we have been and will continue to focus on what the Bible says about love. The Lord calls us to love others as we have been loved by Him – even our enemies. After all, we were once enemies of God and it was His love for us, reaching its fullness in Jesus’ death on the cross, that transformed us and made us His children. The command to love like Jesus is impossible in our own strength. In our fallen state, we don’t want to love our enemies and lay down our lives for our wives. It takes the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to give us that desire and power to do so. That’s why Paul says this in Galatians 5:22-23: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” The fruit of the Spirit is love. It is first on the list for a reason – all the rest of the fruit flows out of the love that is produced by the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Invite Him to produce the fruit of love in your life.
