Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always.
1 Chronicles 16:11 NIV
Seek
The Immigration and Refugee Protection Act requires that every person seeking to enter Canada must appear for an examination at a port of entry to determine whether that person has a right to enter Canada, or may become authorized to enter and remain in Canada. The Canada Border Services Agency and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police play an instrumental role in protecting Canada’s border, deterring and intercepting irregular entry to Canada and keeping Canadians safe. CBSA, the RCMP and its domestic and international partners work together to intercept individuals who enter Canada irregularly.

With how things are in many parts of the world, it isn’t surprising that so many people are seeking to come to Canada. We have, in our country, a true treasure, and people always seek treasure if they think it can be found. The Bible speaks about seeking treasure, but not like the treasures of the world. Way back in 1 Chronicles 16:11 we read, “Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.” The command to God’s people way back then was to seek His face, to do everything possible to come before Him and get to know Him. The same call is given today, and it is so much easier now that Jesus has been revealed. We seek the Lord first and foremost through faith in Jesus Christ – the One who came to reveal God to us. Once we have met Him through faith, on a daily basis we seek Him through time in His completed word. From Genesis to Revelation, God reveals Himself to us. Be sure to seek Him like you are searching for the richest of treasures. You will find Him as you do.
These have been words from the heart.
