“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers;he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

Head and Heel

Back in 2017, British Columbia scrapped the dress code requirement that required all female government employees to wear high heels. The government of British Columbia said the requirement was discriminatory as well as being a health and safety issue because they are dangerous. It said that high heel wearers faced a risk of physical injury from slipping or falling as well as possible damage to the feet, legs and back. Footwear should be designed to allow workers to operate safely, it said.

God wasn’t the least bit surprised when sin entered into the world. In fact, God saw it coming before the creation of the world. God also knew what sin would lead to and what would be necessary for it to be eradicated. Sin was unleashed by Satan, and his minions would work behind the scenes throughout time to destroy human beings, the highest of God’s creation. They hate God and want to steal His glory. It won’t happen. In the Garden of Eden Genesis 3:15 tells us that God said this to the serpent: “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” This is the heart of the battle in the heavenlies. It would eventually be fought on a cross outside of the walls of Jerusalem. There, Satan would strike the heel of Jesus, leading to the death of the Messiah. Three days later Jesus would burst forth from the tomb, the death of death, crushing the head of Satan. The battle of the ages would begin its final stage in a Bethlehem manger, as the Son of God entered His world.

These have been words from the heart.
