Light in the Darkness
18-year-old Lah Kee recognizes that his situation is desperate: His home state of Karen in Myanmar is ravaged by war. His family lacks food and shelter while on the run from the latest battles.
He says with a determined voice, “We finally came to the refugee compound. I want to learn and be educated in the school. I want to read the Bible. God gave us many promises in the Bible. I will study hard. I want to be a light of God in this dark world.”
In the battle zones in Myanmar, Lah Kee has a calling on his heart to shine the Word of God to his Karen people.
Although he rests on God’s promises, Lah Kee has no Bible of his own.
You can change that!

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” PSALM 119:105 (NIV)
