For Canadians, September 30, 2023 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Our nation has been navigating a Truth and Reconciliation journey as we address some very difficult outcomes from the many generations of First Nations children who were sent to residential schools. This day is set aside to honour those children who never returned home and the survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process. As a community of believers, this day can be a time for reflection, prayer, and learning.

Please pray for truth and reconciliation in our land.
