Stand with persecuted Christians today

BLC stand with persecuted christians PS

Your gift will place Bibles in their hands so they can be bold in their faith.

Nothing will stop Brother Pon from boldly proclaiming the gospel of Christ. Even though many people have tried to silence his witness. He was brutally attacked while passing out Biblical materials in front of a tea shop near his home in Myanmar. A crowd of 15 men punched and kicked him, knocking out his front teeth. Yet Brother Pon continues to proclaim Christ.

Later, a mob formed to throw stones at his house in an attempt to frighten and discourage Brother Pon. Still he tells his neighbours about the Good News of Jesus.

That’s why we’re asking you to stand with persecuted Christians by providing them with God’s Word to sustain and strengthen them to be bold for the Gospel.

And God is using Brother Pon to bring people to himself. In each of these “unfortunate” incidents, he was able to lead others to faith in Christ.

Around the world, as many as 100 million people like Brother Pon are persecuted for their faith in Christ, making Christians one of the most persecuted religious groups in the world.*

Instead they gladly share in the suffering of Christ and the promise of God’s Word, which says: “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” — James 1:2-3 (NIV)

Persecuted Christians aren’t asking for help to escape their situations. Instead, they ask for more Scriptures so that they can be bold for Christ and share their faith in Him.

You can provide what our persecuted brothers and sisters long for today — the Living Word of God.

It costs just $5 to place a Bible. Please respond as generously as you can today to place the living Word of God in the hands of as many persecuted Christians as possible.
