Where do you turn when life happens? Do you find comfort in a friend or family member, contact a member of your church, or hold onto the hurt, fear, worry or anxiety, thinking that you can handle it on your own? God wants to know what you are going through, how you are feeling, and how He can help. God wants us to call out to Him, but what happens when we just don’t know what to say to Him in prayer?

As a child of Christ and a part of a body of believer’s, we are asked to seek His face and live together in unity. Devotionals, church services, and Bible studies are a great way to start, but there are also some resources that can help you connect with God and with others, one of which is the GodQuest Series.

The GodQuest Series was created by Rev. Bob Beasley, Shelly Calcagno, Pastor Kevin Makins, and several others, to provide devotionals and encouraging scriptures for those who are facing life’s trials. It can be hard to recognize God’s goodness when life feels overwhelming, but it is important that no matter what happens, we bring each concern and problem to God, and look to the scriptures for comfort, reassurance, and hope. The GodQuest Series has been designed to do just that, so that together, we can overcome life’s difficulties, and strengthen our relationship with Him.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. – Proverbs 3:5-6

We tend to rely on our understanding of the situations that we face on a daily basis, but God wants us to rely on His understanding. He is orchestrating great and wonderful plans for us; ones that we could only imagine. In the struggles of life, we only need to rely on Him. God knows our yesterday’s, our today’s and our tomorrow’s!

If you are facing challenges in your life and want to hand them over to God, but don’t know where to start, take a look at the GodQuest Series. They provide scriptures and devotionals that will help you understand God’s role in your life, and how He is watching over us, no matter what we are going through.
