Ediyan was born into a Muslim family in North Macedonia. His grandmother taught him about Islam and faithfully took him to the mosque.

At age 15, Ediyan moved with his family to a new neighbourhood. Across the street, a Bible study group was meeting weekly. He was eager to make new friends, so when they invited him to join, he went.

Ediyan enjoyed the people he met, but he filtered everything he heard through his Islamic faith. Feeling offended by these beliefs, he refused to return. He stayed away for an entire year — but his new friends persisted.

On a day where he was feeling a bit lonesome, and remembering how he enjoyed being with the group, he decided to accept their invitation. Again, he felt very welcomed.

With their help, Ediyan learned more about Jesus and began to read God’s Word. What he read there changed his heart.

Soon, he was standing up for his newfound faith in Jesus the Messiah. “As the truths of the Gospel took hold in my life, I realized that faith in Jesus Christ was in my heart,” he says.

Today, Ediyan leads a team of believers who travel to nearby villages and share the Gospel. With training he has received through your support, he leads two Bible study groups and prays that this is the start of a new church group.

Ediyan adds, “I can’t keep God’s truth to myself. I want to tell everyone I meet about Jesus Christ!”

Please pray for Ediyan’s ministry, that more people may hear and read the truth found only in Jesus Christ!
